Feta Basil Bison Burgers

Break up the ground bison in a large bowl. Sprinkle feta basil, salt pepper over; gently mix until combined. Divide into 3 portions and form into patties. Cut onion crosswise into thick slices, brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place burgers and onions on grill and cover. Cook for approximately 4 min. Flip and cook for about 3 more mins. or until burgers are medium well and onions are charred in some spots. Place burger on bun and top with an onion slice.

1lb ground buffalo
1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/8 cup finely chopped fresh basil
1/2 t sea salt
1/2 t course black pepper
1 red onion
1 T olive oil
