Low Country Boil

This dish is traditionally served by draining the pot and emptying it on newspapers spread on the center of the table. Plenty of napkins are a MUST!!!!

Fill large stock pot approx 2/3 full of water. Add 2 packets of crab boil and salt. You can also add chili pepper flakes and/or 1-2 TBSP of hot sauce for a bit spicier.

Bring water to a boil. Add potatoes and return to boil. After 15 minutes, test potatoes – when almost done add sausage. Cook until boiling. Add corn and return to boil. Add shrimp last. Cook until shrimp are done (when they turn a deeper pink color). Drain. Serve. Enjoy!

2 lbs BFB Beer Brat or Smoked Bison Sausage
1 lb BFB Hot Italian or BFB Spicy Bison Brat
2 lbs small to medium new potatoes
4 fresh corn on the cob, cleaned and broken in half
2 1/2 lbs Shrimp
2 boxes Crab boil spices
1 TBSP salt

Optional adds based on additional people and budget
1/2 lbs crawfish per person
1 bundle of mussels or clams
1 lobster for every 2 people
1 crab for every 2 people
